During his career, Budney has been involved in over USD $9.5 billion of active real estate projects across four continents. He counsels various real estate owners and financial institutions on their real estate investments and strategy including as Special Advisor to J. Safra Real Estate.

Prior to founding Ennismore, Budney was the Vice President of Acquisitions & Capital Markets for Macklowe Properties. He worked directly with the Chairman of the firm on acquisition, development and joint venture efforts. Prior to this, Budney worked in the London and New York offices of Tishman Speyer as a Director in both the Acquisitions & Development and Equity Capital Markets groups. He began his real estate investment career in New York as an Analyst for the Related Capital Company.

Budney holds a BS in Business and Economics from Lehigh University.
